Veronica Hume

Veronica is a Senior Manager of Project M&A at RWE Clean Energy. She has over a decade of experience in renewable energy finance (M&A and structured finance) across onshore and offshore wind, solar, and battery storage projects in the US and Canada. Veronica led the execution of a 5.5 GW portfolio acquisition and strategic partnership with Peabody Energy, a transformative deal advancing the clean energy transition. Additionally, she has led tax equity financing for over 300 MW of renewable energy projects. As President of the Chicago chapter of WRISE (Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy), she works to provide leadership, career development, and networking opportunities for others in the industry. Veronica holds a BS in Chemical-Biological Engineering from MIT and MBA from Chicago Booth.
