Iris Badezet-Delory

Iris is a second-year undergraduate (College ’27) from France majoring in physics and classics with research interests in computational physics and their applications to climate research and sustainable transportation. Alongside her research in atmospheric fluid dynamics with the Geophysics Department, she is the co-president of the Energy and Climate Club and the practice coordinator of the UChicago Sailing Club. As a recent attendee of COP29 in Baku in November 2024, Iris gained insights into how finance and scientific research can drive innovations in sustainable transportation and energy solutions.
