Sam Rappin

Director of Communications & “Built Environment” Panel Director

Sam Rappin is a fourth-year student at Northwestern University pursuing degrees in environmental studies and entrepreneurship. He is passionate about the nexus between renewable energy, sustainable food, and conservation. He is Co-President of the Northwestern Energy and Sustainability Club (NESC), President and Founder of Plant Futures Northwestern, a club focused on plant-based food systems, and Co-Founder of ScaleUp, a startup focused on improving the utilization of fish byproducts. He has worked at Constellation Energy, Ameresco, and the Environmental Law and Policy Center. After graduation, Sam will join Schneider Electric as a Sustainability Analyst in their two-year rotational program in Denver.
